Blackout is the fifth studio album of the United States, Britney Spears. Released in October 2007 with the hits single song Gimme More.The songs in this album are thematically focused on sex, love and her relationship with the media. The album was number 32 in terms of units shipped worldwide by the end of 2007.The album won "Album of the Year" at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008. The album has sold over 3.1 million copies as of 2008.
